Current Loans

One very effective way to share the collection of the Flint Institute of Arts while increasing the institution's visibility is to lend individual works of art or entire exhibitions to outside venues.

Since February 2004, the FIA art has been displayed at Northwestern University's Block Museum of Art in Illinois, Michigan State University's Kresge Museum of Art in East Lansing, the Sloan Museum and The Whiting in the Flint Cultural Center, the Governor's Executive Offices in Lansing, the Marshall Fredericks Museum in Saginaw, the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York, and the Boca Raton Museum in Florida. In addition, FIA works will be included in important exhibitions in Mexico, England, Switzerland, and even Japan.

The following artworks are on loan to the exhibition:
