Current Loans
One very effective way to share the collection
of the Flint Institute of Arts while increasing the institution's
visibility is to lend individual works of art or entire exhibitions
to outside venues.
Since February 2004, the FIA art has been displayed at Northwestern
University's Block Museum of Art in Illinois, Michigan State University's
Kresge Museum of Art in East Lansing, the Sloan Museum and The Whiting
in the Flint Cultural Center, the Governor's Executive Offices in
Lansing, the Marshall Fredericks Museum in Saginaw, the Brooklyn
Museum of Art in New York, and the Boca Raton Museum in Florida.
In addition, FIA works will be included in important exhibitions
in Mexico, England, Switzerland, and even Japan.
