Enjoy a self-guided indoor walking tour through the FIA while admiring works donated or on loan to the museum from the Mott family or one of their many family foundations. See the visitors services desk for a tour handout and look for the special logo on labels throughout the museum to find out more information about the Mott family’s legacy of collecting and giving.

The Mott family was and continues to be strong supporters of the arts and their beloved city of Flint. Applewood: The Charles Stewart Mott Estate, once home to C .S. Mott and his family, is currently celebrating its centennial year. Built in 1916, Applewood is now open to the public through October every Thursday–Sunday.
