2012–2013 Educator Workshops

Educator workshops are designed for pre- and in-service teachers, home school parents, and volunteers. SB-CEUs/SCECHs are available through the Genesee Intermediate School District and graduate credit is available through the University of Michigan-Flint.


Credit Options for Educator Workshops

SB-CEU credits are available through the Genesee Intermediate School District. Graduate credit are available from the University of Michigan-Flint. Each workshop carries .5 SB-CEU at no additional charge. Graduate credit is available for an extra charge. If you are interested in receiving graduate credit, please contact the Education department for more information.

•  1 credit: Successful completion of 3 workshops
•  2 credits: Successful completion of 6 workshops
•  3 credits: Successful completion of 8 workshops

– plus development of an age-appropriate multicultural unit of study.


Workshop fees include materials. Bring a lunch or purchase one in The Café.

Discounts are available to individuals registering for three or more workshops:

3-5 workshops, deduct 10%
6-7 workshops, deduct 20%
