The Flint Institute of Arts is committed to promoting understanding and enjoyment of the visual arts through high quality programs. We believe art is a vital component of life and that learning is a lifelong process. Our educational programming provides dynamic and enriching experiences for people of all ages with all levels of familiarity with art.
Our programs invite people to gain greater understanding and enjoyment of the FIA’s outstanding permanent collection and special exhibitions. They are designed to present learning opportunities that are rich in content and stimulate imagination, thought and creativity.
We invite you to visit the FIA to Look, Wonder, and Experience the visual arts!
If you are an FIA member at the Sustainer, Sponsor, Donor, or Rubens Society level, as you plan your road trip, plane trip, or day trip, be sure to take your FIA membership card. At these membership levels, your FIA card allows you admission to more than 800 participating museums in the U.S., Canada, El Salvador, Mexico, and Bermuda.
Just present your membership card validated with the gold North American Reciprocal sticker to receive membership privileges (guests are not included). For a full listing of participating museums, visit flintarts.org, select Membership, then Reciprocal Listing and click on the link. If you do not have access to the Internet, we will mail a listing to you.
